Review
If you’ve read the first two books in the series, then you
would have already briefly met Tessie and the manwhore, Rex. You’ll also know
the basic history between them.
Tessie has had enough of waiting for Rex to grow up and man
up for her, so she’s put her foot down and said No More.
Andy ‘Shooter’ Jenkins is there for Tessie when her car
breaks down – although it’s Rex who gets the call and told to pick her up –
Shooter is there to lend her a car while he fixes hers, Shooter is there for
her when shit hits the fan for Tessie. Despite believing that his soul is black
and tainted, he sticks by Tessie, protecting her and caring for her. And when
she needs to protection of Hellions against what threatens her, guess who steps
up to the plate once again?
Yep. Shooter.
They both have their tainted pasts and who better to help
them heal, than the other.
I really enjoy the fact Chelsea has characters from other
authors’ series’ coming in to play. I think it’s a great thing for authors to
coexist in this way, allowing their characters to go out and play somewhere
else. There’s also a beautiful trust there too, to give someone else the
opportunity to dabble in a world you’ve created.
I haven’t read the series the other characters come from but
if I get a chance, I’d like to. To get inside the workings of the other clubs
and how the actions in the Hellions affects those in the other MCs.
Fans of the series will love the continuation with the
Hellions and I’m sure fans of the other MCs involved will find this series to
be another to add to their TBRs.
