They see what we want them too, behind the scenes it’s all contracts and legalities. But what happens when the lines blur and protection is more like love?

When an even bigger threat looms over the quiet, lonely teen, it’s all he can do to keep her safe while trying to remember his biggest rule: Hayden Patterson only sleeps with a woman once. And he’s afraid if he’s not careful, her mom is the one woman who could make him break that rule.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I could tell you the boring facts, such as I’m thirty-two, I live in a small town in Texas, and I’m a single mother of two, but that doesn’t really give you a sense of who I am. So, I’ll give you the more intimate, random details.

My favorite color is silver. To me, it symbolizes balance, which is something I'm always seeking.

My favorite animals are squirrels and otters because they are playful and always seem happy.

When I'm sad, watching a video of a Great Dane jumping on a trampoline to peek over the fence can cheer me up.

The toilet paper roll must come over, never under.

I've been known to burn more than one dinner because I get caught up singing and dancing while I cook.

I have an irrational fear of looking into mirrors in the dark... can't be sure who is looking back at you.

I'm a writer, so I obviously have an overactive imagination.

What inspired you to write your first book?
Fiction has always been my escape from the real world; it’s the only thing I’ve ever really been passionate about. Growing up, I knew I wanted to do something with books. I dreamed of being an editor or a publisher. I never once thought I’d be a writer. Although I always had character ideas and plots running through my head, the idea of being in the spotlight and really putting myself out there frightened the hell out of me. When I was twenty-five, I was going through one of the hardest times in my life. One day, I was talking with a friend of mine and she asked what my hobbies were and what I planned to do with my life. I was completely lost and had no answer. She knew me well enough to say, “You like books. Have you ever thought about writing?” Umm… no. I explained to her my reasoning, and her response was to order me to write her something. I’m excellent at following directions, so I did. I wrote a short story about a lost woman who was ready to change her life. When my friend applauded me and said she thought I had talent, it gave me the courage to believe in myself. And so I began Divine Merit.

How did you come up with the concept for Divine Merit?
I was mowing my front lawn one morning while singing along to my iPod. The song “It’s All Been Done” by the Barenaked Ladies came on and the idea of two immortals meeting up throughout time, loving each other, but never being able to stay together came into my mind. From there, I began to ask myself questions like “Why are they immortal?” and “Why can’t they be together?” And suddenly, Caeden started talking to me. He was so frustrated with Amira. She is a child playing games, nothing more. And there was the first line of Divine Merit. An angry Caeden continued to pace back and forth through my mind until I finally stopped the mower and went inside to write the scene. Then, like magic, the rest of the characters appeared and the story took a life of its own, completely straying from the original concept.

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in writing Divine Merit?
I was surprised to discover the author doesn’t actually have control of the story. The characters have a way of taking over and holding the author hostage. For example, at one point in Divine Merit, Levi announced he had a plan to trap the villain, and I was shocked. “What? What plan, Levi? We don’t have a plan!” For two days, I remained clueless to what he was planning, and then it turned out that his plan actually sucked, but thankfully, one of the ladies came up with something better to save the day.

Have you ever done anything strange or weird in the name of research?
Haha! Yes, I have, but luckily, I have a good support team to talk me out of the more wild things. Such as, I once asked to be punched in the face. The person I asked thought I was absolutely nuts and refused. My argument was, “But if I’m going to write about it, shouldn’t I know how it feels?”

Can you share a little of your current work with us?
An unedited scene from Divine Grace

“What is your relationship with him?” Trevin asked briskly, getting straight to the point.
He was unused to this feeling of jealousy, which aggravated his usual calm demeanor to near fury. They would settle this issue now, and if Inaya had any sort of feelings toward another man, well, he’d see to it that they ceased immediately.
“Excuse me?” she questioned with a look of confusion.
“You will answer the question,” he stated, not being one to repeat himself.
Inaya’s spine stiffened and her look of confusion turned to one of pure stubbornness.  “I don’t believe that is any of your business.”
“You know very well that it is,” he forced out through clenched teeth.
“If I remember correctly, you refused that right.”

Do you have any writing rituals?
I take long group showers with my characters. LOL. It seems like the majority of the scenes come while I’m either driving or in the shower. So when I’m uncertain of what comes next, I hop in the shower.

What book are you reading now?
Make Me Whole by Kaithlin Shepherd. I’ve become a huge fan of Ms. Shepherd in the last several months.

Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
Thank you for giving my stories a chance. I hope you can love my imaginary friends as much as I do. And thank you for your support and encouragement; it allows me to believe in myself and it means far more than you will ever know. I would love to hear from you, so please leave a review or feel free to contact me directly. There is nothing I enjoy more than talking about my imaginary friends.

Random Questions:
What's in your fridge right now?
Not a whole hell of a lot honestly, but the most interesting thing is a half-eaten, blue, 9 inch gummy bear.
What song do you sing at the top of your voice every time you hear it?
When “I Will Do Anything For Love” by Meatloaf comes on, I don’t care who is around, I put on the performance of a lifetime.  ☺
Where did you last go on holiday?
In August of 2015, I participated in my first author signing in Florida at the Indie Author Bookfest. And let me tell you, some of my fellow authors are wild!
If feral aliens attacked your house and they were zapping your home with their Über super bombs, what five items would you save?
Well, first I would attempt to interview them, for research purposes of course. If that didn’t work out, I’d snatch up my Kindle, laptop, .40 Smith & Wesson M&P (See, they should have answered my questions, now gotta fight off those suckers.), my wallet, and my kids could come along too, I guess.
If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?
Don’t Pet My Unicorn

The five titles in the Irrationally His series are brought together in one seamless read in Irrationally His, The Collection.

Chelsea couldn’t stand Travis ten years ago when her mother married his dad and moved to his ranch in Montana. The feeling was mutual. He stayed – she went to live with her dad. On the occasion of a week-long ten-year anniversary party, they meet as virtual strangers, and sparks still fly. The trouble is, where sparks fly, fire soon follows. Even though he’s too cocky, too arrogant, too flippant and a bum, she can’t keep her mind and soon her hands off of him. And even though she’s illogical, unfathomable and completely annoying, she’s all woman and irresistible to him.

Nothing but trouble can come from them acting on their desires. The question is, just how much trouble are they willing to tolerate for the sake of exploring how far their passion will take them?

What people are saying about the series...

Travis and Chelsea, described by one reviewer at the beginning as “an uncommitted, somewhat self centered man, and a directionless and slightly flakey woman” meet as virtual strangers on his father’s ranch, where his father and her mother are about to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary in opulent style. Undeniable chemistry versus misunderstandings, separation, and tragedy inevitably change and mature them. The question is whether they’re right for each other in the greater scheme of things. Only time and distance will tell.”

Chelsea
“You do know you’re trespassing, right?”
The voice startled me from a sound sleep and my eyes flew open to reveal what I at first thought was a vision straight out of my book. From my position, lying on my back, he looked too tall to be real, and the tight-fitting jeans, plaid Western shirt, and Stetson hat did nothing to dispel that thought. The expression on his face puzzled me at first. A wide grin revealed perfect teeth and belied the words he’d spoken.
I started to answer when I noticed his eyes flick from my face to my — oh, my God! My chest. My bare boobs. What the hell? I crossed my arms over myself and sat up in one motion. Looking around wildly for my shirt, I heard him speak.
“Looking for this?”
I hadn’t answered his accusation of trespassing, but I had plenty to say about him holding my shirt out of my reach. I wanted to cover way too much quivering flesh A-S-A-P. Thank God my lower half wasn’t naked. That would have been too much. Literally.
“Give me that, you bastard!” As I spoke, I lifted my face to glare at him. With a cocky grin, he tossed my shirt to me, but didn’t look away. “You could at least turn your back while I put this on.”
When he didn’t, I snarled, “You’re no gentleman.”
“Didn’t say I was,” was his laconic reply.
When he still didn’t turn away, I had no choice but to let one arm move to retrieve the shirt, and then to expose my boobs to his gaze again as I lifted my arms to pull the shirt over my head. Although I was covered, it wasn’t much better as the shirt was a bit too small, and in my haste to cover myself, I’d skipped the bra. A quick glance downward made me groan. In the now-chilly air under the shade of a tree, my traitorous nipples were in full evidence under the thin fabric. As was my belly. I sucked it in.
I was at a severe disadvantage in my sitting position on the ground, so I stood to look him in the eye. It wasn’t usually a problem for me, at my five-eleven height. Nevertheless, I had to look up several inches to meet his. “I’m not trespassing.”
He quirked one eyebrow, the challenge clear. Then he looked pointedly at my chest again.
I crossed my arms. “My mother is married to the owner of this ranch.”
His eyes widened. “Is she? How nice for you.”
“How long were you standing there getting an eyeful before you woke me?” I asked. I was about two seconds from punching this asshole in his pretty face.
“Oh, I don’t know,” he answered with a slow drawl.  “Ten minutes? Fifteen?”
“You bastard!” I exclaimed again. “I assume you work for my step-dad. I’m going to have you fired.”
“You assume wrong, Chelsea,” he said.

Like you, I'm a reader. When I read a good story with characters I can connect with, my everyday existence fades into the background as I enter a world that may contain exotic locations, adventure and excitement. And, if I can be totally honest with you, in my favorite stories I can fall in love for a while with an impossibly gorgeous guy who is the best lover imaginable.

So, maybe it won't come as a surprise that in my books you'll find hot alpha male book-boyfriends, sassy heroines who are much more clever and beautiful than I am, and stories I hope will make you laugh and cry while reading them, as I did while writing them. Oh, and some scenes you may want to role-play with your lover.

Author: Chelsea Camaron
Genre: MC Romance
Release: January 24, 2016
Cover Designer: Cover Me Darling

The Hellions motorcycle club is a commitment for life, one Ruben ‘Ruby’ Castillo believes in.
His wife Jenna ‘Vida’ Natera de Castillo has given her life to being his ol’ lady and the mother to their three children. She takes her commitment to her man seriously.
People change, and over time, passion can fizzle. Life for Jenna falls apart the day Ruby no long-er says I do.
Keeping the fires burning in a marriage is hard. Will the chaos of the club bring them back to-gether, or is it what pulls them further apart? Will these two find the flame again? Will their love find a new spark on their heated ride through life?

“Oh the FEELS!! This books is a killer on the heart and Tummy! I got teary eyes, a lump in my throat and lots of butterflies.” ~ 5 Star Review Twinsie Talks

“Camaron did an amazing job on portraying feelings, the progression of this story, and I love her thought process for her characters.” ~ 5 Star Review Author Kristin Campbell

“I can’t even begin to tell you how close to home this book hit me!!!....5 heated stars!!! Obsessed doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel about this book/series!!!" ~ Alpha Book Club

For some reason, I always have a little cry during a Hellions book. Without fail, I cry! They're mostly happy tears, but I always do it.
Heated Ride is Jenna and Ruben's book. For some weird reason I always thought they were older. No idea why, though! Jenna is 28 and Ruben is 32 -- Just for the record!
This isn't about new love and new connections, this is about current love and disconnection. It's about the day-to-day, the mundane, and the discontent of routines--and life--as things change.
Ruby and Jenna are lucky, though. They get the chance to work out their differences. There are so many couples out there who can't work past the fallout or disconnect. They can't get past the harsh words spoken in the heat of the moment, or come to a point where they can speak civilly to each other again (and no, I haven't forgotten this is a book!!)
I think Heated Ride will speak to many of us who have ever had issues in a relationship. I know it spoke to me. The part that hit home was where Jenna realises she needs to find herself again. To discover just who Jenna is after losing herself to being a mother and wife. It's so easy to lose sight of who you are when there's another person involved as well as kids. Some people--like Ruby and Jenna--separate while realising who they are. Other can work through it without parting, and yet more discover themselves but never become a couple again.
There are so many paths self-discovery can take. I was a little worried they wouldn't find their way back to each other, but like all good Hellions novels, they do and have a hellava journey along the way.
Hellions for life.
Ride or die.
